Today, we are excited to announce a new integration between Mirage and KnowBe4, the world's largest security awareness and compliance training platform. This partnership introduces our industry-first AI social engineer directly into KnowBe4's Security Awareness Training (KSAT) console, making it easy for organizations to synchronize and analyze Mirage risk data within KSAT.
“Mirage joins our ecosystem of technology partners, which is growing rapidly, to enrich the support we provide to our customers and to fortify their organization's human risk management strategy,” said Stu Sjouwerman, CEO, KnowBe4. “KnowBe4 is proud to partner with Mirage to provide a seamless integration with our KSAT platform, which aims to educate end users on today’s latest cybersecurity threats. By introducing an industry-first AI social engineer into the KnowBe4 platform, our joint customers will benefit from enhanced security resilience.”
The Growing Threat: GenAI, Deepfakes, and Vishing
According to CrowdStrike's 2025 Global Threat Report, vishing (voice phishing) attacks surged by an alarming 442% in just the second half of 2024. Attackers aren't messing around—they're using sophisticated deepfake technology, AI-generated voices, and hyper-personalized tactics that easily deceive even the most cautious employees. The era of poorly worded phishing emails from obvious scammers is over. Organizations now face hyper-realistic social engineering threats every day.
Meet Mirage’s AI Social Engineer—Now in KnowBe4
Our integration enables security teams to deploy ultra-realistic simulations and sync directly to KnowBe4’s KSAT console, including:
AI-generated Vishing Calls: Simulated voice phishing calls that convincingly mimic real threats your team could face.
Executive Deepfake Impersonations: Realistic, AI-crafted messages appearing to originate from senior executives, testing employee readiness.
Complex Social Engineering Attacks: Multi-stage scenarios designed to bypass traditional training methods and challenge employee preparedness.
These scenarios aren't hypothetical—attackers actively leverage these sophisticated techniques. We've successfully deployed these simulations at scale, helping organizations proactively identify and remediate vulnerabilities. Employees safely engage with realistic threats, rapidly developing critical defensive skills.
With this integration, security teams can seamlessly run Mirage simulations, analyze employee behavior directly in the KnowBe4 KSAT user timeline, assign targeted training, and leverage smart groups based on real risk data.
Getting Started is Simple
Existing KnowBe4 customers can easily enable the Mirage integration by following our integration documentation to obtain an API key from their KnowBe4 admin panel and entering it into Mirage. If you are a Mirage customer and have questions about this integration, please reach out to our team through your dedicated Slack channel.
